Multimedia Music Video.

My Next Project Was About Exploring Moving Film And Experimenting With Video With Photography. I Decided That I Wanted To Stick With The Fashion Photography Theme, But Link It To Tableau Photography And Linking The Work To A Story. This Was Set Around A Bride Being Left At The Church And The Sadness And Devastation That She Feels. The Story Unveils As The Video Plays. It Is Backwards So That The Ending Is The Start Of The Video So That The Story Meaning Evolves. The Video Is A Music Video To The Song 'Scared Of Lonely' By Beyonce. The Lyrics Really Played An Important Role In The Video. I Used Moving Film In This Video, Reversing Some Parts Of The Clips So The Model Created Interesting Movement. I Used Two Settings For This Music Video. I Used The Beach, Which I Titled 'The Honeymoon.' I Shot The Church Scenes At A Derelict Church In Tunstall, To Link To The Emotion Of The Bride In The Video.

                                                                                                                                               

Natural Beauty Photoshoot.

In This Next Photoshoot, I Really Wanted To Keep It Quite Simple And Capture The Natural Beauty Of The Model And Flowers. These Two Things Really Link Well Together, And Are Constantly Shown In Art And Photography. I Shot These Images At A Beautiful Gardens Called 'East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens.' I Took These In The Summer So That I Would Have Better Flowers To Capture Because Of The Season. I Really Wanted To Experiment With Black And White Shots, As Well As Some Sepia Tones To Show A Difference In My Work.

Perfume Advertising Photoshoot.

These Next Images Are From My Favourite Photoshoot That I Have Shot So Far. This Is Because I Feel That These Images Have Been My Most Experimental Pieces Of Work. I Really Used The Backdrop Of The Sky As My Advantage By Shooting On Location. These Images Were Inspired By Dior Perfume Adverts Of 'Miss Dior Cherie' And The Colour Theme Of Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer Collection. These Images Were Then Used For My Graphics Cosmetic Advertising Project. I Think Colour And The Theme Of A Young, Girly Fragrance Was Extremely Successful In These Shots. I Currently Work As A Fragrance Sales Assistant  In House Of Fraser As A Saturday Job Where I Have Gained Lots Of Knowledge On Advertising.

In These Images, I Have Used Two Completely Different Models. Both Models Looks Are Completely Different, One Being Extremely Fair And Blonde And The Other Model Having Dark Hair And Olive Toned Skin. Grace Amodio Has Been My Model For Many Other Shoots, But Normally For Darker Edgier Shoots So It Shows A Contrast In Her Looks And The Success Of Her Direction In Different Themed Shoots. I Think That This Was Important Because It Shows How Two Looks Of The Models Can Work Successfully Together In The Same Photoshoot.

Graffiti Photoshoot.

I Then Did Another Photoshoot But Decided That I Wanted To Do A Graffiti Photoshoot And Have The Clothing And Makeup Really Bright And Colourful. I Also Wanted The Photos To Consist Of Colour, Patterns And Shapes. I Took These On A Graffiti Brick Wall And I Think The Setting Works Really Well In These Images. Grace Amodio Was The Model, I Think Her Look Really Suited The Theme Of The Shoot. I Am Really Happy With The Images And Like The Way That Colour Plays An Important Role In These Images. I Hope You Like These Images.

Egypt Photoshoots.

These Shoots Is My Favourite Shoot That I Have Done So Far. I Went On Holiday To Taba Heights In Egypt And I Thought That I Would Be The Perfect Opportunity To Shoot Some Fashion Photography Here In An Exotic Location. I Favour Shooting On Location As I Favour The Natural Lighting. I Think That It Is More Beautiful. Light Became The Most Important Element Of These Shoots As I Was Casting Different Shadows Onto My Model. I Looked At Different Photographers To Inspire Me Such As Greg Kadel And Guy Aroch Who Shoot Fashion Photography In Exotic Locations And Use Light Sucsessfully. I Also Looked At An Old Vogue Cover From 1949 British Vogue By Erwin Blumenfeld That Also Inspired Me For This Shoot But I Took More Of A Modern Approach To This. I Really Like How Shadows Have Been Casted Like A Barrier And Sheild Over The Models Face. I Am Really Glad I Shot In This Beautiful Exotic Location.

This First Shoot Was Taken In With The Egyptian Scenery. This Was Really Important For This Shoot To Capture This, To Set An Egyptian Mood. I Used Lydia As The Model And I Was Really Happy How These First Images Came Out And How Sucsessful The Shadows Were That I Captured. The Patterns On Her Clothing Linked With The Patterns Created From The Shadows.

I Then Took Some Images Influenced By Erwin Blumenfeld's Work But Taking A More Contemporary And Modern Approuch To This. I Used The Hat To Cast The Shadows Onto The Model Using Nothing But Natural Light. I Am So Happy With How The Shadows Have Projected Onto The Face Of My Model. I Also Experimented With Water Images. I Am Especially Happy With The Blue Waterfall Image. This Image Was Chosen To Be 'Photograph Of The Week' At My College On The Internet. The Blue Colour Is Really Outstanding And Eyecatching In This Image.

These Next Images Were Taken Again In Egypt But I Really Wanted To Use The Scenery In These Images As An Advantage. I Had My Model Pose In The Sea As Well As In The Water. I Am Especially Happy With The Water Images. They Almost Remind Me Of An Art Nouveau Style. They Look Really Surreal. I Love The Way That The Models Hair And Outfit Are Flowing.

This Next Shoot Was One That I Have Never Really Tried Out Before But I Decided That Now Was The Time To Experiment With Night Fashion Photography And Slow Shutterspeeds. This Would Then Make Light Patterns Around My Model. These Were Also Taken In The Resort And Around The Pool Side. I Really Like The Shapes And Motion Captured In The Image. The Yellow Colour Of The Models Dress Goes Really Well With The Colour Of The Light Patterns. The Last Image Is My Favourite Photograph Because Of The Close Up Of The Models Face.

Darkroom Images From Exam.

The Previous Shoots Were For My Exam Shoots For College. For My Exam I Printed These Images In The Darkroom In Black And White, Manipulating Them By Scratching And Making Marks Into The Images And Creating Different Shapes With The Scratches Using Different Tools Such As Sand Paper And Knifes. I Used The Images From The Alice And Wonderland Shoot And The Shoots Of The Fairies. I Was Really Happy With The Result And Even Though It Was A Change For Me To Use The Darkroom, I Think It Was A Really Good Thing For Me To Do And Challenge Myself. I Really Want To Use The Darkroom Technique In The Future As I Love Using Manual Techniques Compared To Digital Techniques As I Feel More Pride In My Work.
